- Read, read, read! Studies clearly show the more you read at home, the better student your child can be!
- Practice, practice, practice! An essential component to math is knowing your addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts!
Students in grades 1 through 6 can use two online programs to practice their reading and math skills.
Please contact your student's classroom teacher for login information.
How can I support my student with state testing?
Students in grades 3-6 take the CAASPP state test each year to measure their progress. Parents can gain familiarity with the test software platform and sample test questions for grades 3-8 and 11. You can discuss the question types and go over how to find the answers. No scores will be reported to either you, your school, or the state.
